Day 12

My lecturer said something in my Lebesgue lecture today.

Suppose God is the supremum of all living beings on Earth. Then in order to prove the existence of God, you'll need to find the supremum in the universe. So then, is there an existential supremum in this universal set?

What the fuck?

So he related it to sigma algebra and he was talking about whether it was possible to find the smallest possible family of sets which still remains a sigma algebra. and erm.. well, it exists.

What the fuck x two?

You know, I'm really hoping i'll pass. Even complex analysis is getting slightly ridiculous. Transformation of multi layered Riemann surfaces into a singled valued function for Logz, sqrt(z(1-z)) and whatever not.

But well at least, astronomy and geography is really interesting. with great lecturers of course. so... there's still some consolation

ok mahjong in one hour time. time to gamble.
