Day 2.7 - 2.9

yeah. i just woke up it's 9.30am over here. and 11.30pm back in singapore. i think the timing's pretty cool. when i'm awake, most singaporeans are still online using their msns. heh. ok more updates.

to left off, after i went back to hostel to unload the bulky stuff i bought from metrotown, i had the absolute intention of paying richmond town a visit. but apparently, the bus service from the terminal to richmond ceased to operate. damn. so i made my way to edgewater casino instead.

yup. myself. i was wearing a zara vest over my polo tee. weather's so nice you can wear this kind of stuff and walk around without sweating.

the train. how it looks like at night. there's this bus service that links you from the broadway station to ubc in like 20 minutes. it's called B-line. for a minute i was wondering why it was called B-line, then i was enlightened. "beeline". lol.

some gigantic tank lying outside of chinatown station. looks like stone age weaponry to me.

edgewater casino. located very near to the gigantic british columbia stadium. didn't take a picture of the stadium though. my camera's pretty bad at night.

jackpot!! the winning combination that netted me 34CAD in an instant. shrug. i won it in 4 minutes, while tying my shoelace and pressing. the lady beside me was a bit displeased.

gotham steakhouse. looks freaking expensive.

cheese hotdog. with mustard, mayonnaise, onions, garlic. tasted pretty good. but kinda expensive considering it's 4 CAD. ouch.

okok. i'm leaving hostel now. will be going to omelettery at granville. they sell good omelettes there i heard heh. more pictures of richmond later! chao.
