damn it

Non-invasive heart surgery. Doc's gonna reveal more tomorrow. Could anything get worse?
Come on God, tell me what's next?
Guess what.
Things are still going downhill.
Fuck life man.

Come on Hansel.
It's all a dream. Wake up. Stop sleeping.
You're in 2002, not in 2006.

Blog less, be more indifferent.
I keep forgetting the magic word. Haha.
I realize I have a bit of Lincoln in myself too. Haha.

Shatter

I'll be frank.

I should stop helping people.
And start helping myself.

I'm killing myself insidiously.

If you want an epitomy of bad luck, you're staring at him right now.

W

And so J shares the same sentiments with me about W.
You have to be very careful asking her stuff.
Because she could very well lash out at you the next minute.
And she enjoys lamenting and shooting down your comments instead of giving a better alternative/suggestion.

Well, today's AGM pretty much states the fact that "first impressions count"
Screw up your pitch and the pitchfork will screw you up right back.

Paradox Of Choice

Axiom 1 : A choice ceases to be a choice when it is chosen.
Axiom 2 : Not having a choice is still a choice in itself.
Axiom 3 : Not choosing to choose anything is still a choice.
Axiom 4 : If faced with a current option, your current choice is not exactly a choice made here and now, but is a result of a choice made before this current choice, and was a result of a choice made before the previous choice before the current choice, and was a result of a choice made before the previous previous choice before the previous choice before the current choice, and was ............. Bye Bye Baby Tooth

"Why does it feel like night today?
Something in here's not right today.
Why am I so uptight today?
Paranoia's all I got left
I don't know what stressed me first
Or how the pressure was fed
But I know just what it feels like
To have a voice in the back of my head
Like a face that I hold inside
A face that awakes when I close my eyes
A face watches every time I lie
A face that laughs every time I fall
(And watches everything)"

Thought that before I start any work, I should blog the living shit out of my head first.

Wait like an idiot for 30 mins.
Doctor took like 15 mins to extract my freaking baby tooth.
Cos 2 of the roots to the tooth were stuck deep deep into my gum (Discriminant > 0)
Hur hur whatever.

The problem of staying overnight in NUS is that I don't have access to my bloody mail and documents stored on my computer.

As much as I want to make things work, I also want to see things screw up completely. But I think it's injustice meted out. Because things have the potential to be righted. It just needs the correct push and direction. You have the right intentions, but you don't know how to put them forth. Sigh, if need be I'll help you, but time is running out, cos I don't know if I'm staying for long.

Guess I'm paying my dues, before the biggest shit starts.
My hair is still not turning black anytime soon.

PGP (Pigs Give Pork)

PGP is quite funny.
The cubicles are damn small.
Even a scrawny guy like me ended up banging against the cubicle walls.
And the shower head was too low for me. Adjusted it but to no avail.
And you can't really hang much things in the shower.

I'm still amazed at what Gordie said the other time, of how this couple managed to bath together inside for god knows how long. Romance in confined spaces. *shrug*

Thanks Gordie for the foam mattress. Many more days of PGP to come.
Should I run the risk and spend the night with Juncai at KE7 too? This is risky. I might get a sore butt the next morning.

Dummy's Guide To Haphazardness Part 3

Haphazard Eating

Go to Redhill Hawker Centre with Chong Yi a.k.a Bottomless Pit No 2.

Eat the following:
Chicken Rice
Chee Kuey
Hokkien Mee
Egg
Omelette
Mutton Satay
Rojak
Sugar Cane Juice

Then, get go home and get diarrhoea. Period.
That's haphazard for you.

Linger (Edited)

"But I’m in so deep
You know I’m such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger"

"Click" got me mesmerized in this song all over again.
And I think you got to be kidding, choosing to fast forward the whole experience of sex.
But muting my mom would be quite a good darn choice actually. Morty... where are you...
At the rate things are going, I think I dyed my hair at the most undesirable time. Damn.

I'm looking forward to staying over at PGP on Monday.
I'm sleeping well again. I think.

I like this quote. Thanks Rong Lun.

Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)

It's all in oneself to achieve the heights that one has the potential to achieve. Aiming for a just pass in anything might be enough, but if one has the potential to push further, he should, because then he can live with a greater purpose. Nothing leaves a sweeter feeling than discovering how far you can run in a race.

Back and Forth

Time travel.

So if you jumped back in time to change certain events in your life, fast forward back to the future, and you suddenly realize your perspective changes in an instant, with a whole new life emerging as a result/consequence of the change that you've inserted.

But then only your perspective and outlook changes. Whatever happened to the people around you then? In realtime, won't their world suddenly change in an instant as a result of what you've altered?

Now picture this jarring image. One minute you're sitting in front of the computer blogging, next minute, you find yourself stranded on some island because someone that took the same flight as you 1 year ago decided to hijack the plane and send it to some secluded area. You experience the butterfly effect without even doing a thing.

That's the problem with alteration of the past. Whose perspective is to be held as the benchmark then? If we have 10 people in the world time travelling back and forth, I reckon all hell will break loose.

And it seems that a good way to escape death, is to time travel backwards. That's if your mind's the one that's doing the travelling and not your body. Your body's just an empty shell awaiting its occupant mind to take control, existing in different spatial dimensions and times. As long as your mind sustains its own existence, you would have probably achieved some warped form of immortality.

Bah who cares. I'm talking shit. Einstein said that only forward time travelling's possible.
Gotta beat the speed of light.

Pimp

I'm getting a pimple outbreak.
The most irritating thing is, the outbreak's always delayed. I don't sleep properly for 2-3 days, i get an onslaught of pimps 2-3 days after the sleep deficit.
Everywhere, back, face, shoulders.

That's it. After swimming later, I'm going home to sleep.

Spin

No teeth extraction required. Cool. Just only need to remove the irritating baby tooth. Byebye, my young premolar.

Oh well. Tio pang seh. No Phuture tonight. So much for shifting away my stuff.
WTF, I lost weight! I'm 66kg. Siao liao. Better eat A LOT more.

Tuesday, August 15, 2006

Chao Ah Beng

Quite a number of people told me I look like an ABC, or some Ang Moh.
And my hair smells of ammonia after bathing. Perhaps it was the cause of my headache today.
Ok time to sleep. I'm freaking tired.

Phuture tomorrow. Urggghh.

Thank You!

Time for a long thank you list.

Thanks Imelda for the excellent service and assistance at Youth Centre/National Youth Council.
Thanks Chloe for being the liaison between Mr Teo at MCYS.
Thanks Dylan for being such an exceptional host and coming in at awkward timings to break the silence. Thank goodness I got you, or not, the mess after the rain would have been greater.
Thanks Zhiwei for getting such great performances during the evening and for helping us clear the area even though you aren't even in NUS.
Thanks Imran for your awesome acoustic performance. What a pity that the crowd's biased to the Chinese Language. Or not you would have gotten underwear thrown at you. Haha.
Thanks Kenneth for coming down and providing the additional help, even though I knew you encountered some form of animosity.
Thanks Weining, Brig, Jieqi and Pling for coming down. So sorry I couldn't entertain or talk to you guys much. Hope you guys understand!
Thanks Dil for the sms of support. Thought you forgotten abt your shifu. Haha.
Thanks Chong Yi for coming down. Despite the shagness, I finally know how your girlfriend looks like. =)
Thanks girls for the publicity and decor job, and for your chinese lessons.
Thanks Shu Hui for bringing me 2 cans of Redbull and forcing me to eat dinner. Welfare! Haha.
Thanks Siow Wen for the prompt settling of money. If I had to settle $$$ for the performances, I can go hang myself from the tentage frame. Haha.
And lastly, thank you both Rong Lun and Xiaojun, for the great partnership, for the lessons, for the fun, for the madness, for the opportunity. Sorry for having to bear with my idiosyncrasies. Great working with you guys man!

With this down, time to fix the mess at Cuesports side.
And do some business.

Xiaojun told me there's some side effects to drinking Redbull. Just hope my favourite colour doesn't become red. Hurhur.

Sunday, August 13, 2006

Fuck!

I equalized my record of no. of hours awake.
I'm downloading notes now for tomorrow.
I fell asleep while driving home.
I drank 3 cups of cofee and 3 cans of redbull.
Some fucking band told me they were playing indie rock, in the end, it's METAL. Fuck la. Fucking assholes.
It really rained!

But on hindsight, I learnt the motherhood statement required of all band performances. "Sound Check".

Cancel Last Order

Come down ok?
ALIVE! 06 at the Youth Park, 13th Aug 06 (Sunday) from 12pm - 9pm.
Support us by buying coupons!
Lots of performances lined up.
Bands, bands, singers, magic tricks, balloon contortionists, line dancing, wheelchair dancing, acoustic performances.

Anyway,
Ok. It's 3 Maths, 1 Geog, 1 Econs.
Looks better this way.
And if I want to, I can actually have Tues and Weds as my free day. Hmmmmmmmm.. Really sounds good.
But I'll be zombified on the other days I guess.

I just took a look at my MA3220 notes. I realized I'm in for some madness. Because it seems that the entire A level syllabus on differential equations would be taught finish in the first chapter. Woohoo.

Thursday, August 10, 2006

Oh Shit

Yes. Oh Shit.
Because I'm going to do 3 Maths and 2 Geog.
I need to use both my left brain and my right brain. I hate using both portions.
Hohohoho, Merry Christmas, though it's a bit early.
ARGH

Cuccckoo (Edited)

Yeah the jokers above.

Never would be expecting to have a 98.7fm DJ call me and do me a favour.
Thanks Shan Wee. Haha.
Yeah so I thought maybe it would work by asking him to help us publicize our event.
True enough, it did!

So now I'm stoning and waiting for his call.
I'm going a bit nuts. I can feel S9A 01-02 calling out my name.

_________________________

Console at 987fm screwed up. He's going to call me from 11pm later to record the conversation. Thank goodness it's not live.
Warning. "Do Me A Favour"s are non-transferrable.
SHIT. WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO?
*sweat*

_________________________

Phew it's over. I just told the whole world who the heck I was on radio.
And I got a $50 hamper in the process.
Talking on radio is like selling your pitch
To 40000 people, that is.
Bleah.

Thanks

True enough. We all started eating at approx. 1900hrs at Sizzlers.
Thanks guys for the excellent company today.
I'll organize the next outing ok? I'll think of something different.

Pictures tomorrow. Blogspot doesn't seem to be uploading properly.

Sorry ZW. Can't go Sentosa later. Gotta go back to school. Next week when the carnival's over, let's go mess around in Zouk man. I can kope free passes for you and the rest (I hope). Hahaha.

This blog will be the consolidation of happy thoughts.
The other? The consolidation of the darkness and the shit in my head.
I think it's better this way.
Easier to do housekeeping when the time comes........ I guess.

There's more, but I can't remember what to add to the list. But this carnival has really been an eye opener. Learning things from the other side of the social fence.

Scouts gathering later, amidst the madness.
Meeting place 1800 City Hall
Move out time 1815, when everyone comes.
I guarantee you we won't find a place to eat by 1845 still.
Typical trademark of the batch of 1997 01 Scouts.

Interesting prospect to discuss with CY later in the evening. Maybe it's time to hang up my cue and learn how to write on OHP and transparency.

Ok. One unquotable quote for your viewing pleasure.

"Why do you want to be dark?"
"Cos I want to be tanned"

"That's my intention."
"No pun intended
"

One more picture for your senses. Enjoy.

Dot Dot Dot

Trying to be stupid on a Saturday afternoon. Yes I'm stuck at home doing work. Bleah.

Price Delusion

Ever wondered why retailers enjoy retailing their stuff at idiotic prices of $34.90? $6.99? $109.99?

Introducting the concept of price delusion.
Where demand doesn't create its own supply.
Where price creates a hallucinatory effect on consumers, leading to inflated demand, which in turn creates its own supply eventually.
Where the physics of Keynesian demand and supply curves are a whole load of bollocks.
Where price is the determinant instead.

Of course psychology is involved here. Results have shown that you place two items side by side, one priced at 34.99 and the other priced at 35, more people are inclined to purchasing the former even though they don't realize they are adding the cumbersome weight of a 1 ct coin to their wallets. That's besides the point. The effect of .99 or .90 makes things look a whole lot cheaper to the average consumer. The effect of .90 also forces the one digit to drop a notch. Or for that matter, $100 to $99, OOOOOOO suddenly there's no more hundredth digit.

So if this is the case, maybe it's high time the authorities started considering converting all their currency to 99 dollar bills, 49 dollar bills, 0.99 bills.
Or was it a conspiracy by the authorities afterall to promote the usage of 1 dollar coins in 1987?

Sorry. I'm talking cock. Ignore me. Cucckkooooo. I've got bird intestines.
